Intro to Furniture

Spend four days in our historic barn learning how to transform rough lumber into a Shaker-style hall table! This class is great for beginners or hobbyists looking to freshen up their skills. Students will learn all the basics of furniture-making, including choosing wood, equipment safety and operation, mortise and tenon joinery, and basic finishing.

Each day runs from 10 am to 5 pm, with an hour break for lunch. We provide all the materials you need, so come with sturdy shoes & clothes you don't mind getting dusty. You can look forward to leaving with a beautiful piece of furniture!
